The trip begins early in the morning to avoid lines while crossing the border. Pick up is at 4:30 am.

Once crossed the border we will be visiting one of the most active volcanoes of Central America: the Masaya volcano. We will make a stop at the homonymous town characterized by its excellent pottery and souvenir market. After this, Granada: a colorful and vibrant colonial city founded by the Spanish in 1524. Here we will see the main church known simply as the “Catedral” and the Plaza de España where you can take in the magnificent views of the Nicaragua lake. After lunch, we will tour by boat the biggest lake in Central America, exploring some of its small islands inhabited by different monkeys. After the boat tour we will have a little free time to shop in the streets of this lovely historical city rich in culture and unique for its colonial architecture. We will be crossing the border back to Costa Rica approximately at 9:00 pm.

Tour Cancellation Policy
A charge of 20% will be applied to cancellations made 2 days or more before the day of the activity.
There will be no refund for cancellations made from 0 to 1 days before the day of the activity.
Refunds do not apply if you do not show up at the agreed meeting point for tours or transportation.
